5 Office-Appropriate Pairs of Flats
As someone who can be a little clumsy in heels, flats are a natural choice for me. I recently heard someone ask whether or not flats are professional / dressy enough to wear to work. My answer was a very loud and excited "Yes!"
DV by Dolce Vita, White Leather 'Savannah' Cap Toe Flats, $46.20 from Bluefly. These shoes are so classic, how could you not wear them to work?
Women's Whiz Kid Ballet Flat, $49.95 from Endless.com. I'm going to go ahead and say that leopard shoes are office appropriate. But, if your HR department says differently, these flats also come in white, black, and pink.

b.o.c. by Born Women's Batik Flat in Turquoise, $49.95 from DSW. I love the pattern on this flat, and the pointed toe adds even more sophistication.

Shoes Women's Brite Ballet Flat in Coral, $39.99 from Endless.com. These comfy ballet flats add a pop of color to any outfit. If the color is too bold for your office, they come in a beautiful natural color, as well.

Rocket Dog Mystic Natural Rose Linen, $39.99 from Famous Footwear. Not only are these floral shoes adorable, they're also very dressy!
Would you wear these shoes, Lovelies? What do your feet normally wear to work?

They're all so cute! I'm 5'3" on a good day, but feel like I'm going to break my ankles in heels, so I absolutely love flats.
I feel like if you have to ask if flats are professional enough for work then chances are you're buying your shoes from like Claires. I never wear heels to any professional setting and it's rare that I'll wear heels out at all. I'm really clumsy with heels and I'm already 5'6" so I don't really feel the need to add on any more height.
I wear black oxfords or a classic pair of black pumps to a strict professional workplace
I love the blue ones, even with their pointy toes.
@MeghanLarissa@xanga - Hahahah, right? I'm also 5'6 and clumsy as can be. I don't need stilts to handicap me even more, lol.
Plus, my boyfriend and I are the same height, so I don't wear heels because of that. I don't have a problem with being taller than him, but little dudes tend to not like being with a woman who is three or more inches taller than them, lol.
Some of these are cute. But Wet Seal has flats that are even cuter for more than half the price:)
Unfotunately, Wet Seal starts at a size 6 & I wear a size 5:( But for those of you that can wear them, checkkk em out.
I love flats! These shoes are really cute and I could see myself wearing them. I buy my flats and other shoes from Target and Payless which have good selections. I am thinking of hitting DSW for the higher end shoes, which will give me a reason to actually shop in there.
What can I say?
I love shoes. ♥
I wasn't aware there was a question of professionalism with flats. I'll probably never wear a pair of heels. My arches are too high. But, I work in a lab so I don't wear flats or heels to work!
@ohveryoung@xanga - same with my bf. He doesn't mind if it's every once in a while for a party or something but every day I think he'd get uncomfortable.
I love these..probably more so than heels (but I'm too clumsy and I can't walk in them) and these are soo adorable and cute. I just wish I had money now. Lol
perfect!!! i was wondering the same thing. thanks for sharing this.
I love them all! Except for the turquoise ones...
