In My Shopping Cart: American Apparel Dress
Lately, I’ve been trying to save my hard earned bucks, but I just can’t help myself during my favorite apparel season. Upon my bargain hunt for a new dress, I came across, literally, a do-all item. The Cotton Spandex Jersey Bandeau Dress, $43.00 from American Apparel, is not only a dress, but also a skirt and a shirt!
There are 15 different ways to style this versatile little number. This makes me feel like I am getting a big bang for my buck, which makes me a very happy girl.
Here are some of my favorite looks:

Besides the wide array of options when it comes to wearing this dress, there is also a very tough decision: what color (of 32!) to get?! I am pretty set on the nude color, but am loving the coral and light aqua.
What do you think, Lovelies? Do you like this dress? What color would you get?

That's actually insane! I looked at how all the looks are done. I really want this dress now.
Wow - this is awesome. Except, the girl in picture two should REALLY have a bra on...
Wow! This dress/shirt/skirt is so versatile. I really want it. I might save up some money to get it later since I just bought a pair of boots, but great find!
I'd probably get the aqua, but the nude is nice, too. Look like a great dress in any color.
Oooooo, love it.
instead of spending 40+ dollars you should just make one instead? http://rowena.typepad.com/rostitchery/infinity-dress.html
Ok, I normally really hate American Apparel, but this dress rocks!! It's like 50 different looks in one piece. AWESOME. I would get either black or red. But I would avoid the boob-window thing that's going on in some of the pics. Yikes!
@july37@xanga - Holy cow...I am totally going to make one
That's way better than dishing out $40!
Woah... this is so four years ago! hahahah. But it is an awesome dress.
@july37@xanga - that link has been in my bookmarks folder for several months. I've been meaning to try it out, but I prefer to have measurements and actual patterns. McCall's has this pattern, which I plan to buy next week and make :)
I don't really like American Apparel but this dress looks cool.
