Alexander McQueen's Box Clutches are to Die For
When I first saw this Union Jack box clutch awhile back, it reminded me of Bottega Veneta's clutch, but little did I know what was in store once I did an online search for Alexander McQueen's box clutches. The images that showed up were breathtaking. These are not simply accessories. They are pieces of art.

but when I really very would have to decide for ONLY one box clutch then it would probably be the one with the "diamonds". But, actually, I REALLY want to have all of them!!!!!I love the nude/pink one in the middle. So many sparkles!
They're all amazing, but I think I like the floral one the best.

Does anyone know the significance of the skulls? I noticed there were printed skulls all over the Alexander McQueen scarves featured in a previous Lovelyish post as well.

@PAPER__x__HEART@xanga - Skull-print scarves are McQueen's hit item ever since their release in 2007. Darkness is a dominant feature of Alexander McQueen vision of the world. He once said that he finds beauty in grotesque. I assumed that's why he created the skull-print scarves and skulls has became a very McQueen thing ever since. Even after his death, the use of skulls in McQueen's designs continues.
Holy god. Give me.

@cat - OMG there are more designs? I actually should not see how the others are looking because, i guess, it is almost harder 'cause i think that they are too expensive for me right now. Maybe in a few months, I dunno! :p
But they are soooooo cute and sooo special. When you go to a party with one of those clutches you probably are the only one (or one of the only) who have this...Lastly, I think I am gonna check the others out :) .. thanks for the info that there are more xDOoh. I like c:
i saw these a while back, but the ones i saw were a bit more simple and they came in solid colours. i fell in love. these are a bit over-the-top for me to want to actually carry them out... they seem more like a piece of art that i would just have on display. however the nude one with the rhinestones seems like something i would carry if i went out.
