There are certain words that come to mind when describing my fall wardrobe, like "riding boots" and "over-sized sweaters", but another word that comes to mind is "stripes". Yes, that's right, stripes seem to make their way into a lot of my fall outfits and it's really just because of how versatile they are. Check out all of the looks that you can easily imitate using the stripes in your closet!

Why not break those ripped summer shorts out again? Although tights are worn in this look, heavier stockings can also be worn as it gets colder outside. Balance the bottom with a warm, striped sweater and you have yourself a look transformed from summer to fall.

Throw a blazer on top of your striped shirt or dress to achieve a snappy look that can be worn at work or out for cocktails with friends. The best part about this look is that it isn't too busy so you can really experiment with the accessories you wear.

Dress up your striped shirt with a high waisted skirt, stockings and booty heels. A striped shirt really is a blank slate for you to dress up or dress down however you please.

I am always a fan of when navy blue, nautical-looking stripes are paired with the color beige in an outfit. What's better, is when unique accessories like a bowler hat are included — definitely a bold fashion choice. Of course, we can't forget how this look fabulously makes use of a long skirt for the fall. Even a cotton maxi skirt can be used if you don't have a dressier one like the one above.

Lovelies, would you wear any of these stripe looks?
