I have heard so much about Phosphor and their new line Phosphor Appear watches. So, you can understand why I was extremely curious about my own Appear watch. I wanted to know is it really worth the hype.

This watch is pretty unique and special on its own. It is driven by Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology. With each minute, an electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the Swarovski™ crystals on the face of the watch, while producing a distinctive unique sound. The sound is like a mild buzzing click that doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact I like this sound, as it reminds me that time is passing by with every minute (maybe it will make me appreciate time and use it more reasonably?).

It has two buttons on it side, when I click the upper one it shows the "off mode" that hides the numbers and replaces whole display with shiny crystals (that are catching light from different angles) for 12 hours. When I click the button again, I am back in "time mode". Simple!
