The buttoned-up shirt wins as this season’s most versatile, do-able trend. Take any old oxford shirt from your closet (you do have this wardrobe staple, don’t you?) and button it up. ALL the way up.
Talk about refreshing your look without spending a dime! So, how do you wear it?
As a long-time member of the nerd herd, I love the idea of an old-school, pocket protector-esque geek look. For a fun twist, pair your buttoned-up shirt with something sharp, sassy or dangerous.

What do you think of these outfits? Do you ever wear your shirts buttoned all the way up?

I like the last two ensembles.
In the first, I think a fully buttoned up shirt with those trousers might be a little too much..

i think in the second the creme, white and blue with the black waist band might just all turn into a bit of a mess. but i like the style idea

Yes, I do. I like the first outfit.

i can’t do button-up shirts. my boobs are too big. either the shirt fits fine in the waist and the buttons around my chest gape open… or it fits fine around my chest and makes me look preggo.

Love the look!

I like the last two. The “Nerd Herd” is definitely overdone and I can’t wait for those hideous nerd glasses to move far, far away from North America. No one can really pull it off (except I saw this old man at Walmart today and he looked adorable).

I wear my RL Oxford (white or the light blue!) with dark jeans for a classic, preppy look

Every woman should have a white shirt in her closet, and as someone who wears suits every day, I have more than one. i like the last one, cos I can see it working for me – just change my bottoms to go from day to night…
