Refinery 29 recently published a 2011 trend breakdown, and I have a feeling it’s going to be a good year for fashion. Here’s what to expect:
The bright color trend at Jil Sander, Proenza Schouler, Prabal Gurung, Z Spoke.
The loungewear-inspired trend at Karen Walker, Vena Cava, Thakoon, and Ralph Lauren.
The print trend from Burberry Prorsum, Stella McCartney, Proenza Schouler, Prada.
The minimalist trend at 3.1 Philip Lim, Richard Chai Love, Yigal Azrouël, Rag & Bone.
The ’70s trend at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs, Derek Lam, and Tory Burch.
The long skirt trend at Diane von Furstenberg, Jil Sander; Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Collection.
What 2011 trends are you excited about?

The 70s. Hell yes, that stuff is cool. I hate minimalism, but it works for some peple. I just like colors and crazy patterns and I avoid khaki at all costs because it makes my skin look terrible. Something about the pale against pale…blech.
