At first I hated the shimmery frock Whitney Port donned at the Cosmopolitan and Marquee grand opening in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve, but the more I stare at this picture, the more I like how the dress looks on her. Her long legs and tall, slender frame balance out the exaggerated sleeves, while the blue sheen gives her an air of youthful elegance. Regal, yet contemporary–hotness!
My only qualm with this outfit is the shoes, which look too casual against her dress and jewelry.

I think she’s too thin for it. The dress looks bulky and.. robotic

Dear Lovelyish,
We get it. It’s the beginning of the year. Actually it’s the THIRD now, so how about we move away from new year’s eve and talk about something else. I’m already sick of it.
Thanks.

I love Whitney, but I think she could have worn something much more classier and flattering. she’s too pretty for that dress.

I would love the dress without the exaggerated shoulders. I can’t seem to like that trend. Her legs look great and so does her hair and makeup. Oh and hate the shoes… wrong wrong wrong.

Her legs are too non-existent. I mean, I’m all for skinny legs but, shapely is better. Not that she can really help it, but the extremely heavy top makes her bottom half look TOO small.
